About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Officer – Fundraising to support fundraising and funding activities that strengthen the sustainability and impact of Latrobe Health Assembly.
Reporting to the Executive Officer, this support-focused role provides hands-on assistance across fundraising initiatives, grant applications, donor engagement, reporting and compliance. The role suits someone who enjoys working with detail, systems and deadlines in a small, values-driven team.
Flexible working arrangements are available by agreement. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support events or fundraising activities.
About You
You will bring:
- Experience supporting fundraising activities, grant applications or funding processes
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Understanding of ethical fundraising, funding compliance and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines and collaboratively in a small team
- Victorian Driver’s Licence, access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to travel across the Latrobe Valley
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of fundraising initiatives
- Assist with grant applications, funding submissions and acquittals
- Maintain accurate funding records, reporting timelines and documentation
- Support donor and stakeholder engagement, including correspondence
- Assist with compliance, risk documentation and reporting requirements
- Support reporting to the Executive Officer and Board
- Represent the Assembly professionally at meetings or community events as required

- Fundraising and Grant Support Experience
Experience supporting fundraising activities, grant applications or funding submissions. - Project Coordination and Administration
Ability to manage tasks, timelines, records and reporting across multiple activities. - Compliance and Accountability
Understanding of ethical fundraising and funding compliance requirements, including experience working within Department of Health or similar government-funded contexts. - Stakeholder and Community Engagement
Ability to engage professionally with funding bodies, partners and community stakeholders. - Communication and Teamwork
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently.
