Office Manager

Location:Bairnsdale (East Gippsland)

Employment Type:Part Time

$75,000-$80,000 pro rata + 15% Superannuation

You’ll coordinate a broad range of internal operations, including:

  • HR administration and compliance
  • IT systems and service provider coordination
  • Finance-related tasks, payroll liaison and bookkeeping oversight
  • OHS and WorkCover processes
  • General office management and operational support

You’ll also lead efforts to build a strong and collaborative team culture by helping shape systems, performance, policies and communications.


About You

You’re a proactive and highly organised individual with strong interpersonal and administrative skills. You're confident leading clerical and compliance functions and building processes that support people, systems and performance.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a purpose-driven, collaborative environment and who’s excited by the idea of helping a conservation organisation flourish.


Key Selection Criteria

Please address these in your Cover Letter or Application:

  • Demonstrated experience in similar role office, people and administration leadership function (Essential)
  • Experience and demonstrated performance supporting (preferably coordinating) effective HR, OHS, and IT functions
  • Proven ability to work with existing systems and processes, assess their effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and collaboratively develop practical solutions to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Strong digital literacy, with demonstrated experience using MS Office, SharePoint, Xero, Canva (or similar tools), and a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems with confidence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a fast paced project delivery environment to achieve both individual and organisational performance objectives

Essential Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License or the ability to travel independently
  • Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or valid work visa
